God does not speak a physical language of mouth noises like we do. But there is a Universal language that all beings understand...

God is not a man or a woman, this you already know. God is an energy being containing a balance of both polarities. Because God is energy, it does not communicate in the way that we do with spoken language. If you speak to God in this way its like talking to the Earth or a tree and expecting it to understand you. Energy beings communicate using the language of frequency. The closest bridge to help us understand this language is that of emotion.

Emotion is a vast language that is much more intricate and more complex than any spoken language in existence. If I ask you to look the mouse on your desk, you can tell what it would feel like to touch it, without having to touch it. It contains a frequency, an essence that holds all the information of what it is. There is no single word that can describe how heavy it is, its color, what its made of, how old it is and a thousand other concepts related to it. If you simply say 'mouse' you loose the essence of what the object really is in its entirety. By using words all the time we have reduced life to a very flat, one dimensional representation of what it actually is. We have started to believe that the word IS the thing it refers to.

Now, contrast this with all the attributes that are contained in the object you are labeling "mouse'. All of these characteristics come together to form a unique frequency. That frequency "IS" the essence of the mouse and everything there is to know about it, including how it was made, where its been, how long it will last in the future, everything! It's all contained in that one unique frequency or emotion. It is something you feel with your own energy, it is not something that can be adequately put into words.

What does all this have to do with communicating with God?

To put it simply, emotion is the language of the universe. Emotion is understood by all beings of all types. Energy beings do not have vocal chords to propel sound or ear drums to hear with. They communicate through the broadcasting of emotion. God, being the ultimate energy being, is no different. God doesn't speak English or Japanese. In fact, God doesn't even speak for that matter!

If you want to communicate with God you can't use words. You have to use emotional communication. Words are too slow and heavy to move at the speed that God resides. This is why prayer is usually ineffective. You talk and you talk and you might as well be playing music to get your desired effect. The few times it does work is because of the emotional broadcast that is exuded along with the words. The words are meaningless. It is the emotion that does the trick.

Think of all the experiences you have had in your life. Think about being in love, having sex, even eating an orange. Now think of the words you would use to describe those experiences. Think of the most detailed way in which you could speak to another being about what these meant to you, how they felt, the impact they had, etc. Now compare those words to the "actual" experience itself. When you do this the words become flat and dull, lifeless in comparison to the real depth of the experience.

There is simply no amount of words that will ever be able to convey what is involved in the experience of eating an orange. You can only use words to convey similarities between people who have both had the same experience. There is no other way to be on common ground with the words you exchange. I may describe to you a house that is blue and in your mind you picture a Victorian house with light blue paint. In my mind, as I was talking to you, I was picturing a dark blue dog house. We both used the same words, "house" and "blue", but we were coming from different reference points, different perspectives. There is no way for me to make sure you understand the blue I am talking about unless I can show it to you. Otherwise you may think blue looks like green.

This becomes a real problem when when we talk about spirituality, God, the Force, Oneness, Gaia, etc. Religion tells you "this is how God is". Now ignoring the the obvious question of "how do they know" for a minute and assuming they have actually experienced God, how can they ever hope to give that experience to you using just words? It's impossible. Nothing they can say will ever be sufficient. The second problem is that the majority of religious converts were not converted based on experience but based on testimony, i.e. WORDS!

We have just seen how inept it is to use words to transfer an experience to another person. So in most cases, these people are just repeating to you, what was told to them. In reality, they have no experience to support anything they are talking about. Hopefully this is a major revelation to you. There is simply nothing that take the place of direct experience.

When looking at a system of spirituality, you should always make sure the teacher is not asking you to take his word for it or believe some book. The teacher's job is to show you how to get there yourself, so you can experience, for yourself. If you are being sold an idea based on faith, you are being cheated out of your God given right for something more.

As Eric Pepin says, "God gave us a brain, that means it wants us to find it".
